The 2010 American
Paint Horse Association Judges’ clinic will be
held in cooperation with the Appaloosa Horse
Club of America. The show management seminar and
judges’ courses will be held in
Düsseldorf from the 5th to the 9th of May, 2010.
May 8th and 9th being dedicated to the testing
and interviewing of Judge Applicants and May 5th
for show managers. Guido and Peter Hoffmann of
Lakefield Farms have agreed to host the live
judging part of the judges’ examination as they
have done in the past.
Joe Carter, Butch Carse and Holly Nelson, APHA
Senior Director of Show and Contest are just
three of the highly qualified instructors
invited by the Associations to organize the
clinic.
The courses, show management and judging, are
open to all interested membership. The testing
will be limited to those applicants who wish to
qualify as a European Approved Judge.
Current Judges and show managers are encouraged
to attend the course work and discussions.
Please include this information on your websites
and in other publications. The dates and
Düsseldorf location have been confirmed by the
APHA as well as the ApHC. This allows the
participants to make travel plans and mark their
calendars. Hotel, fees, course and testing
schedule details will be confirmed no later than
February 28, 2009.
